Weekend Cat Blogging #37

Wary after last week's battle to defend her territory, LouLou starts her patrol from the battlements.

After her first cautious peek, she takes a better look, checking the ground below her for interlopers.

Now, downstairs, behind the castle gates, she again proceeds with caution.

Uh oh, she's spotted me. Do you think she'll let me pass???
As you can see, LouLou's boo-boo from last week's fracas is nearly healed. I hope it will be the last of her war wounds.

For all the skinny on the cute kitties this week, be sure to visit Clare and Kiri for the wrap up on Weekend Cat Blogging.

It was tricky finding the "post comment" link...it was like playing a game:)

It looks like LouLou was very smart and strategic with regards to guarding her castle. I'm sure her battle plan is unfolding nicely.

Great pictures. Lou Lou has that "I'm a lion and patrolling my territory" look on her face. And she is a fast healer.

Thanks, everyone, for visiting. Yes, LouLou is a pretty and usually intrepid little cat.

Riana and Sher, I put a glop of Vaseline on her nose (much to her displeasure) a couple times during the week so the scab wouldn't dry too fast and get knocked off, maybe making it bleed again. We want to keep the pretty face pretty. ;+)

Your cat is so adorable! : )

And you're so fortunate to have all those herbs gone wild. I love lemon balm and oregano, but I have them in pots so they don't freeze to death. Consequently, they're not nearly as healthy as they would be in the ground. I did actually plant several clumps of lemon balm out in the garden, but each year it seems like another one bites the dust. : )
